What is Craniosacral Work?

Craniosacral work is a soothing, noninvasive, hands-on therapy that allows the cranial, nervous and glandular systems to come back into balance.

The craniosacral system involves the bones of the head, spine and pelvis, the brain and spinal cord, the connective tissue surrounding them (dura mater), and the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). CSF is the fluid that circulates throughout the brain and spinal cord.  It acts as the brain's immune system, provides cushioning and support, gives the brain nutrients and washes away waste products.

Craniosacral work has been shown to be beneficial for people with a range of symptoms, including sinus and vision problems, headaches, trauma due to whiplash or car accidents, and stress related problems. It is also wonderful for those suffering from anxiety, helping to soothe and heal the nervous system.
